Digital Mailbox customers are notified when a scan is ready. Select Pickup or recurring Forwarding at checkout if that better matches how you normally need paper originals. ### How many scans and archives are included? 5 letter-content scans per month and 10 archived originals in total are included. Additional scans cost €0.79 each; additional archived originals cost €0.10 per letter per month. ### What happens to the original after scanning? A scanned original is held temporarily for up to 30 days unless it is archived, forwarded or securely destroyed through an available action. Up to 10 archived originals are included in total. Originals held at Dropscan cannot be collected from the original workspace. ### Can I collect my mail? Yes, if your chosen location offers Mail Pickup and you select it as your primary option. Collection takes place during local business hours and the collector must present matching identification or approved authorisation. Pickup mail is held until collection or further instruction; there is currently no fixed automatic destruction deadline. ### Can I receive scans and still have originals forwarded? Yes. With Digital Mailbox, you can request one-off forwarding of eligible scanned originals for €1 per letter plus postage. Eligible registered mail forwarding costs €7.50 per item plus postage.
